My Pen and Paper Solution

My Pen & Paper Solution

In my personal mission on improving my daily life by making it simpler and more productive, I’m currently trying to go “all digital” whenever possible to cut down on the paper stuff I have around me.

For example, when preparing my next article I do intensive research on the different angles of the topic I’d like to write about. It is during the research stage that I create a lot of written notes to keep my main point in my articles.

I am the haptic type of guy, you know?
I like to scribble and write things down … with pen and paper!

In 2015, take no shit!

Welcome 2015!! It’s time for another 365 days full of challenges and struggles.

Instead of starting 2015 with a dozen of resolutions, this year I decided to start with a sort of „No Shit“-List. With celebrities giving all of their swanky New Year’s Resolutions, one is going to start thinking of having to give to charity, trimming down, hitting the gym more and bringing on more promises to themselves that always seem to get broken.

To be honest … there really is nothing worse than the type of pressure that we put on ourselves time and again to come up with resolutions that are basically only in place to suit others. There is absolutely nobody that wants to be left feeling as though they are less of a person, simply because they do not have a resolution to share with others. However, you find yourself over and over again being asked what your resolutions are.

Me, the Writer

Me, the Writer

I’ve always wanted to be a writer, more or less. I love to blog and elaborate things out written. Also, writing helps me to cope with things that happen to me daily, in a positive and negative way.

Nowadays, there is no specific degree or certificate that makes someone a writer, and in fact, the term ‘writer’ is something rather broad. Some many people run personal blogs or write books and poems. I think, the only important part of becoming a writer is that of putting words down on paper.

A Merry Christmas

A Merry Christmas

For most of us, Christmas Day is a day that we usually spend with our family and close friends. Often these people close to us are many. The thought of spending time together can throw us into a panic … but we forget, it is a choice that we often make.

In the year my mother passed away I spent the whole Christmas Holidays alone. I did have a couple of invitations from some of my close friends, who were thinking about me not spending Christmas Eve alone, but still I decided to stay by myself. It wasn’t necessarily the best Christmas I have ever had, but it wasn’t the worst Christmas I have ever had either.
